I recently listened to a marketing video that talked about the difficulty in discovering insights into things. It discussed how insights are generally hidden somehow and therefore not so easy to spot. That makes sense. Discovery usually requires getting deeper inside whatever it is that presents the challenge and then actually being able to see something you didn’t see before … like an AHAH! moment when a light goes on. “Serving” is the ubiquitous term we use to describe “a quantity of food suitable for, or served to, one person.” It’s also the term used by experts who are advising us on how to eat healthy. The problem is, a “serving” is in the eyes of the beholder.
